Thanos Will Wreak Havoc In The First Five Minutes Of Infinity War

Published

on

After 10 years and 17 movies, Thanos will finally get his chance to destroy the universe. Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige has hinted that the film will payoff all of the teasing fans in the first five minutes of Avengers: Infinity War. While speaking at the 2017 Comic-Con in Brazil last weekend Fiege gave some more insight on the Mad Titan.

“We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. So, within the first five minutes of Infinity War people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

In the trailer, fans can get a glimpse of Thanos taking over a world and his goon squad The Black Order. Longtime Marvel villain Loki can be seen handing over the Tesseract to Thanos. In Avengers,Loki made a deal with Thanos to use his army to invade Earth. Now according to Fiege, Thanos will not need that much help.

“He’s got some company. He’s got some old faces that you’ll recognize. A certain brother of Thor might show up for a while with him and he has his own team called the Black Order which is a brand-new selection of villains. But really, Thanos doesn’t need much help. He can pretty much take care of it himself.”

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.

New Tomb Raider Shows Off Lara Croft’s Backstory

Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot starring Alicia Vikander. The film will feature a younger version of Lara Croft focusing on her first adventure as the Tomb Raider.

Warner Bros. has also released the officially plot:

Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen.  Now a young woman of 21 without any real focus or purpose, Lara navigates the chaotic streets of trendy East London as a bike courier, barely making the rent, and takes college courses, rarely making it to class.  Determined to forge her own path, she refuses to take the reins of her father’s global empire just as staunchly as she rejects the idea that he’s truly gone.

Advised to face the facts and move forward after seven years without him, even Lara can’t understand what drives her to finally solve the puzzle of his mysterious death.Going explicitly against his final wishes, she leaves everything she knows behind in search of her dad’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan.  But her mission will not be an easy one; just reaching the island will be extremely treacherous.  Suddenly, the stakes couldn’t be higher for Lara, who—against the odds and armed with only her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit—must learn to push herself beyond her limits as she journeys into the unknown.  If she survives this perilous adventure, it could be the making of her, earning her the name tomb.

Tomb Raider comes to theaters March 2018.

Published

Kendrick Lamar is on top of the world right now. Not only did he perform at the CFB championship game, he also is slated to open up for the Grammys. 2018 is already starting out as the best year ever for Kendrick, but he can add to that with a new publishing deal.

According to Billboard, Lamar and TDE are listening to offers now that Lamar is done with his Warner Bros deal.

Top Dawg Entertainment, which manages the rapper-songwriter, is considering offers between $20 million and $40 million. The value would depend on the terms of the deal. One bidder has offered $28 million, a source tells Billboard, while another source cited a $23 million offer that included $11 million upon signing. Such offers would likely be for Lamar’s entire catalog, but the terms Lamar’s camp is seeking weren’t clear.

Last year, Kendrick had total album sales of 1.13 million units, as well as 2.63 million track sales, according to Nielsen Music. His album consumption units (album sales plus track equivalent albums plus streaming equivalent albums) tallied 4.135 million units.
