Steph Curry Is Excited To See Lebron With The Lakers

Published

on

Steph Curry has faced Lebron James in four straight NBA Finals against James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now the two-time NBA MVP is ready to face James four times in the regular, now that James is with the Lakers.

In a recent interview with the AP at his elite camp, Curry spoke about James joining the Western Conference.

“And a whole new-look Laker team with some of the young kids. It should be fun, the Bay Area and L.A. and the whole thing,” Curry told the Associated Press Monday at his annual elite camp. “When I first got into the league, Oracle would be buzzing any time the Lakers came in. There probably will be a revolution of Laker fans that are going to try to creep in but I hope Bay Area and Dub Nation we keep control of that competition because we’re on top right now.”

Curry added that havingDeMarcus Cousins on his squad “should be amazing.”

“It’s interesting because nobody going into free agency thought about DeMarcus as an option then all of a sudden he found his way onto our team,” Curry said. “So for us to have a new dynamic, a new look, whenever he’s fully healthy it should be amazing. I think we got better. Obviously we lost some pieces that were very vital to us winning a championship but you’ve got to evolve, you’ve got to find different things to focus on as you’re trying to repeat, so it should be exciting.”

Antonio Brown has no plans on leaving the Steelers.

The Pro Bowl wideout told reporters was obviously frustrated with the loss on Sunday. Brown tweeted originally tweeted out trade me after a reporter questioned his talent.

During the press interview, Brown stated, “I don’t want to be traded.”

“The tweet yesterday was not in reference to anything other than Antonio responding to a person he knows. It was not directed towards a trade or wanting to be [traded]. Any idea he was asking for a trade is not accurate,” Rosenhaus said in a statement to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Brown has recorded 18 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown through the first two weeks.
