Steph Curry Drains Game Winner In Dallas

Published

on

Golden State won a nail-biter against Dallas, 125-122 thanks to Steph Curry.

Steph Curry scored 32 points but none of his points were better than his game-winning 3 pointer.  With 10 seconds on the clock, the game was all tied up at 122. Draymond Green set up a high pick for Curry as he made it across half court. Curry had a clear look from beyond the arch and drained the open shot.

“Draymond set a great screen,” Curry said. ”I caught Yogi (Ferrell) by surprise and was able to get to my spot and knock it down. I have confidence to take the shot and make it and finish the game.”

“Too open of a look for a game-winner for the greatest shooter in the game,” longtime Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki said.

Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson each added 25 points for the Warriors. Durant had 11 rebounds while Draymond Green contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Golden State improved to an NBA-best 30-8 victory on Wednesday.

Kawhi Leonard Traded To The Raptors

The Kawhi Leonard era in San Antonio is officially over.

The San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors agreed to a deal in principle that would involve a swap of All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and DeMar DeRozan, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.

Wojnarowski reported Leonard and Danny Green will head to Toronto in exchange for DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round draft pick. Toronto’s first-round pick to San Antonio is a protected 1-20 selection. After one year, it becomes two second-round picks.

Per Wojnarowski, the first-round pick is protected for the 20th overall selection and above, and after a year, it will turn into two second-round draft choices.

Toronto would be able to offer Leonard a five-year, $190 million contract next summer. If Leonard left the Raptors, he could sign a four-year, $141 million deal with a team with the available salary-cap space.

Kawhi has already made his intentions known to head back to Cali when he hits free agency. So this move is likely only stop gap.

Drake broke every streaming record with the release of Scorpion and Kevin Durant may have played a part in it.

The 2018 NBA Finals MVP released a workout video with Drake’s song “Talk Up” in the background. In the caption, KD wrote about how much he relates to the album. He also shared that Drake’s new album Scorpion “is the soundtrack to my life at this point.”

This didn’t really happen unless I posted it. @champagnepapi’s album is the soundtrack to my life at this point so I’m sorry if it’s copyright infringement, but there will probably more of these to speak life to the art. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Durant also made time to body one of the trolls in the comments.

Mike Bibby Explains His New Physique

Published

on

Mike Bibby blew up the internet with pics surfaced of his new muscular physique.

In a recent interview, GQ the former number 2 NBA pick spoke about how NBA teams stopped him from gaining mass and his workout routine.

“I’ve always had this build, and I’ve always loved lifting weights—it’s just that when I played, teams didn’t want me to lift heavy like that. Every summer when I came back for training camp, teams would always get mad because they said I looked like a linebacker. So it was just always just one set here, one set there—that was all the lifting I did.”

“Once I retired, I had all the time in the world. Now I can lift heavier. I drop my kids off at school, and I’m at the gym until they have to get picked up. Plus, think about it—no one is really going to want to train with me if I’m 300 pounds and can’t get through a workout. I have to make sure I’m getting right for my next coaching job.”

Bibby does full-body lifts – three days a week with weights, and two days with bands, for about two to three hours. He then goes to the gym to workout, shoot, or play basketball. He takes a small break, and then proceeds to go back to the gym for more shooting, and footwork drills. His day typically starts at 7 a.m. and ends at about 10 or 11 p.m.
