Samuel L. Jackson is returning in his iconic role as Nick Fury the former director of S.H.E.I.L.D in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Vulture reported that Jackson’s Nick Fury along with Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill. Both only had a small presence at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.
Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker and Marisa Tomei is back as Aunt May, with Jake Gyllenhaal tapped to play the film’s villain Mysterio. There have also been rumblings that Michael Keaton will be returning as Vulture, which could set the stage for the supervillain group Sinister Six.
Jackson will also appear with Brie Larson in the 1990s-set Captain Marvel, where a digitally de-aged Jackson will show us who Fury was before he put on that iconic eye patch.
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5, 2019.
