Ryan Reynold is already conquering the big screen with Deadpool 2. His next step, is to take over streaming.
According to Variety, Reynolds is signed on to star in Michael Bay’s Six Underground. Netflix will co-finance and distribute Bay’s next film. This is the first time that the actor and director have been on the same project. The film is rumored to be a possible franchise.
The film was appealing to Reynolds due to the Netflix structure. A Netflix film does not include the world press commitments that a major studio movie like Deadpool requires, and will give him the chance to immediately jump back into developing the X-Force movie.
Reynolds joins stars like Will Smith and Brad Pitt in exclusive Netflix movies.
