What is your name and what city do you rep?
Noah Watson, Flint, Michigan
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
My latest release “Toxic” was created due to a pattern in my own behavior that I began to notice. And then I start to notice that it was the norm for a lot of people.
What is unique about you and your music?
I think my music has its own sound. This isn’t me trying to be like anything but Noah.
What shaped your music?
Music came about for me from just living. I’ve done a lot in this life I believe a lot of people can relate to. This is our story.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
A few years ago I was listening to music and as much as I love music. All this shit was starting to sound the same. All talking about the same things. All wanting to be something they had no idea how that story end. I wanted to bring more awareness to the duality. We heard about the rise. But we never hear about the fall.
What type of music do you listen to?
I love all types of music. Rap, R&B, Soul, Rock, Gospel. I enjoy R&B mostly! These rap niggas be too hard sometimes. lol
What inspires you to write music?
My inspiration comes from the craziest places. I could be having a conversation and in mid talk some shit just hit me.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
Outside of music I’m a father 1st. (Dos & Peyton “gang gang”)
I work hard at making sure they get the best chance at being the best them. Besides that I read, workout, and travel.
Happiness to you is…
Happiness to me is a temporary emotion. I enjoy feeling good but some things that require discipline are more important than happiness.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
You can’t do this alone. Make sure you build a team and understand the power of building good relationships.
Tell us about your upcoming projects…
Well look forward to a gang of videos coming soon. I’m back recording so I’ll be back spring/summer no doubt!
Where do we find you music / music projects?
My music is available on all streaming platforms. (Itunes, Tidal, Spotify, Youtube, Google Play, Amazon music.. or just holla at me. I might send you some shit I aint put out yet.)
Any last words for the readers?
