Odell Beckham Jr. and the Giants are in negotiations to make highest paid receiver in NFL history.
Beckham is in the last year of rookie contract and expressed that he wanted to be paid as much as an NFL quarterback in the past. Now the team and the 25-year-old star wideout are in talks to have a deal well over Antonio Brown’s $17 million a year.
The Giants are known as a team that usually doesn’t waste too much time with lowball offers so this isn’t surprising. This indicates they’re already above Antonio Brown’s $17m per year. https://t.co/tt53dFf8Ii

Back in March, Mike Garafolo disclosed Beckham wants to become the highest-paid receiver in the league.
“I know that Odell Beckham has told some people that he wants some really significant numbers,” said Garafolo. “It’s not gonna be top quarterback money, because top quarterback money is going through the roof. He’s in the 20s. From what he has told people close to him, he wants to be in the low 20s.”
OBJ will earn $8.4 million in the final year of his rookie deal next season.
