Multiple Women Publicly Accuse Andy Signore of Sexual Assault

Andy Signore, the creator of Honest Trailers and Screen Junkies, and SVP of content has been suspended. The suspension was levied on him by Defy Media after multiple women came forward to publcly accuse him of sexual assault.

April Dawn, Emma Bowers and Devin Murphy all came forward in the past week. April Dawn said Andy Signore tried to sexually assault her on multiple occasions and that he threatened to fire her boyfriend, Josh Tapia, if she ever went public.

April shared the following on twitter:

Emma Bowers who once interned for Andy Signore at Screen Junkies said he offered to masturbate in front of her. She also said she was inspired to come forward after the revelations this week about Harvey Weinstein’s decades of sexual harassment.

Emma made the following post on facebook:

Devin Murphy stated in a twitter post that she first began interacting with Andy as a fan and that he then began making multiple weird statements towards her and tried to meet up with her on multiple occasions.

Devin shared the following post on her twitter:

Defy Media released the following statement. “We at Defy Media have no tolerance for harassment or retaliation of any kind. We have been conducting a thorough investigation into allegations made against Andy Signore and are preparing to respond to those allegations and take appropriate action. Given the additional statements that were made [Friday], we feel it is necessary to suspend Andy’s employment while we continue our investigation. We will take all necessary action once the investigation is fully complete.”

Attempts to contact Andy Signore have gone unanswered at this time.

The Punisher Gets A New Trailer And A Release Date

The Punisher is officially being released. Many fans were worried that the show would be shelved after it was pulled from Comic Con due to the Vegas shooting and being postponed. The companies released a joint statement following the tragedy. “After careful consideration, Netflix and Marvel have decided it wouldn’t be appropriate for Marvel’s The Punisher to participate in New York Comic-Con–Our thoughts continue to be with the victims and those affected by this tragedy.”

The show is now set to debut on November 17th.  Previous promo for the show had the actual date blacked out like covert operation files. After appearing in Daredevil, Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle is ready for his on standalone of series.

The new trailer shades some new light on Marvel’s new twist on the character. In comics Frank Castle was a ex cop facing off against the corrupt cops and the mafia in New York, in an attempt to get revenge for his family. The Netflix’s take will turns Castle into an ex-marine facing off against the CIA and his fellow marines after the death of his family.

 The Punisher will feature his comic book ally Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Homeland Security agents Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah) and Sam Stein (Michael Nathanson), Frank’s friend Curtis Hoyle (Jason R. Moore), army veteran Lewis Walcott (Daniel Webber), Micro’s wife Sarah Lieberman (Jaime Ray Newman), and Frank’s ally from Daredevil, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). Additionally, Ben Barnes plays Billy Russo, Frank’s former friend turned enemy in The Punisher series.

Tampa producer/rapper B. Worthy is ready to take fans on a new journey with HyperLight. B. Worthy has been dropping mixtapes in the Bay area and has grown into his own. His distinct voice and harmonies are a staple of his alternative music.  The album blends Hip Hop and EDM with B.Worthy’s melodic hooks.

Even on ‘Die’, themes of facing death on daily basis take center stage. “When it’s go time/ain’t no hesitate/if your scared to die/you won’t every make it/no weapon against me shall every prosper/born in trigger city/you with a chopper/I don’t know what fear is/I wasn’t born with that/once you cross this line it’s no going back” raps B. Live for it/die by it/with my life on the line I abide by this shit.

New Sneak Peek Shows The Gritty World Of Bright

Bright starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton will be one of the first big blockbuster movies to be released on Netflix. Netflix announced it would spend over $8 billion dollars on new content. Directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad and Training Day), the movie explores the darker side of magic blended with the street elements that director is known for.

Set in an alternate present-day, this action-thriller follows two cops from very different backgrounds (Ward, a human played by Will Smith, and Jakoby, an orc played by Joel Edgerton) who embark on a routine patrol night that will ultimately alter the future as their world knows it.  Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which in the wrong hands could destroy everything.

The new featurette breaks down the relationship between the two new partners.
