Lil Wayne’s Rhyme Book Sells For $250K

Lil Wayne bars are going up for auction as part of a Cash Money collection.

According to TMZ, a 1999 notebook with lyrics written by a 17-year-old Lil Wayne can be purchased for close to $250,000. The book is part of a rare collection of Cash Money memorabilia. The book is from the early Cash Money days before the success of “Bling Bling”.

Wayne is still the riding the success of Tha Carter V. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release, with 480,000 equivalent album sales. That tally marked the third biggest sales week for an album in all of 2018, while its 433 million on-demand streams in the first week. The numbers made for the second biggest streaming week ever for an album. The project helped Wayne earn his fourth number one album on the Billboard 200.
