Lebron James will start the 2018 season suited for the Lakers. After spending the last four seasons in Cleveland and bringing a championship to the city, James decided to head to the Western Conference.
Lebron James finally spoke about signing with LA on the Undisputed.
“This is kind of like a dream come true for me,” James explained.
“You look at the Lakers, being able to be part of a historic franchise, you know, with so much history,” he added. “And now being able to partner with Magic Johnson, someone I looked up to when I was younger…and then for it to all come to fruition at this point, I think timing is everything.”

All-time Laker great Kobe Bryant spoke about the James signing.
“Think about this for a second,” said Bryant. “Magic was always my favorite player growing up. He wins five championships with the Lakers, right? And then he becomes an owner and wins five more. Then he steps away, comes back when he’s president of basketball operations and is influential in bringing LeBron James to L.A. I mean, they might have to get this dude another statue. What Magic is pulling off, man, it’s absolutely incredible.”
James signed a four-year $154 million max contract which shows his commitment to Magic’s vision.
