Kyrie has now apologized for saying the Earth was flat.
During the 2017 NBA All-Star weekend, Irving appeared on the Road Trippin podcast and said he believed the Earth was flat.
“For what I’ve known for many years and what I’ve been taught is that the Earth is round, but if you really think about it from a landscape of the way we travel, the way we move and the fact that — can you really think of us rotating around the sun, and all planets align, rotating in specific dates, being perpendicular with what’s going on with these ‘planets’ and stuff like this.”
Now Kyrie has reconsidered his stance saying that he was just trolling and apologized for talking about flat-Earth theories in the first place.

“Everybody’s been there, like ‘Yoooo, what’s going on in our world?’” he continued. “You click a YouTube link and you see how deep the rabbit hole goes. You start telling all your friends ‘Yo, did you see that? Watch this video.”
