Klay Thompson Hit 10 Consecutive Three-Pointers For The NBA Record

Klay Thompson scored 44 points in the win against the Los Angles Lakers. Thompson tied the NBA record for consecutive three-pointers by draining 10 from the arch.

“It just happened to be one of those nights,” Thompson said. “It was the best percentage I ever shot. But it just happened to be one of those nights, man. It’s hard to explain.”

Thompson was lighting up the Lakers all night from the floor. In the third quarter the sharpshooter went 8-for-9 from the field.

“That’s Klay,” Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins said. “I think we’re all used to it now. It was 10 straight? S—. That’s impressive. Man, it’s like a new record every day, ain’t it?”

The 28-year-old is now tied with Ty Lawson and Chandler Parsons for the record. Larson is the most recent player to make his first 10 3-pointers of a game (April 9, 2011) and Parsons is the most recent player to make 10 3s within a game (Jan. 24, 2014).
