Kevin Feige Supports James Gunn Working On DC Movies

Kevin Feige still has a lot of respect for director James Gunn.

Gunn was fired in July from Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Even with the support of Fiege and the cast, Disney still decided to stand by their decision. Warner Bros. quickly scooped and signed Gunn on to write and possible direct Suicide Squad 2.

At Sunday’s Golden Globes, Feige addressed the fate of the Guardian of The Galaxy franchise and James Gunn working with the DCEU.

“Guardians will happen. When, where, how?  For a later time.”

“I went to see Aquaman last night and I really, really enjoyed it. And you know me, I’ve always supported (them). I don’t see a rivalry, I see cool films being made. And one thing you know about James Gunn, he makes cool films.”

Next, he addressed the status of Guardians 3.

“Guardians will happen. When, where, how?  For a later time.”
