Jay-Z Threatened By Murderer George Zimmerman Over Documentary

Published

on

Back in 2012, George Zimmerman was able to get off free from murdering an innocent African American teenager Trayvon Martin. Since then Zimmerman has done everything from mock the family, attempt to profit from the murder, and try to become the face for the gun lobbyists. Now you can add threating Jay-Z to the list.

Zimmerman is upset with Jay-Z’s Trayvon Martin documentary series, Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. The vigilante responsible for the shooting death of the 17-year-old Martin gave an interview with The Blast alleging that the production team for the series made unannounced visits to his parents and uncle’s homes in Florida in an attempt to get them on camera, and called this “harassment.” He then threatens, “I know how to handle people who f*ck with me, I have since February 2012.”

Zimmerman also stated during the interview that “anyone who f*cks with my parents will be fed to an alligator.”

He further says that the producers paid his ex-wife for her supposed participation in filming the series, but that he nor his immediate family were offered any compensation for their participation in the doc. He did not elaborate on whether they did participate in the filming.

There is no formal premiere date had been announced for Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.

Published

Amy Schumer has decided to side with Colin Kaepernick.

Schumer joins the list of entertainers that have turned down the NFL. The actress/comedian announced she will not appear in Super Bowl ads this year as a sign of support for Colin Kaepernick.

“Once you witness the truly deep inequality and endless racism people of color face in our country, not to mention the police brutality and murders. Why not kneel next to your brothers? Otherwise, how are you not complicit?” she wrote in her Instagram post. “[…] I personally told my reps I wouldn’t do a Super Bowl commercial this year. I know it must sound like a privilege ass sacrifice but it’s all I got. Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them.”

Friday thought. I wonder why more white players aren’t kneeling. Once you witness the truly deep inequality and endless racism people of color face in our country, not to mention the police brutality and murders. Why not kneel next to your brothers? Otherwise how are you not complicit? I think it would be cool if @maroon5 backed out of super bowl like @badgalriri Did. I personally told my reps I wouldn’t do a Super Bowl commercial this year. I know it must sound like a privilege ass sacrifice but it’s all i got. Hitting the nfl with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them. I know opposing the nfl is like opposing the nra. Very tough, but don’t you want to be proud of how you’re living? Stand up for your brothers and sisters of color. And the hottest thing a guy can do is get down on one knee. Not to propose but to reject the treatment of his teammates by this country. Anyone who says its disrespectful to our military please read up on the fact that a lot of veterans are proud of what @kaepernick7 is doing and fully support him. What are your thoughts?

Kyle Kuzma Signs Deal With GOAT To Wear Rare Nikes

Published

Los Angeles’ Lakers’ second-year forward Kyle Kuzma has signed a deal with GOAT, the world’s largest marketplace for authentic sneakers, making him the first athlete to partner with a sneaker reselling platform.

“GOAT has inspired me to start collecting more seriously and build my style around sneakers,” said Kyle Kuzma. “People assume that, as an NBA athlete, you can get access to any kind of sneaker you want. When in reality, it’s hard to get the exclusive releases or shoes from the past, and feel confident they’re authentic. GOAT gives me a second chance at not only the limited releases I missed, but also the shoes I wasn’t able to afford growing up.”
“GOAT has always celebrated great athletes,” said Eddy Lu, co-founder and CEO of GOAT. “Kuzma is emblematic of the passion, focus, and determination that reflect what it means to be great. We couldn’t be more proud to have Kuzma represent the GOAT brand, and inspire others both on and off the court.”
Since the NBA removed its restrictions on what color sneakers players can wear on the court.  The deal will allow Kuzma to wear any color combinations of rare kicks.
