Boston Celtics star Gordan Hayward is still rehabbing from his knee injury that kept him on the sideline for the 2017 NBA season. Outside of the surgeries, the running, and the lift, Hayward has also made time for Fortnite.
Hayward tweeted out a challenge to his fellow athletes. “Now I’m confident that I could beat any athlete in the world. Who’s up for the challenge?”

Gordon Hayward’s latest blog called “Fortnite King,” Hayward writes that he thinks getting a bunch of NBA players together for a match would be fun, and that he’s “pretty confident” he would win. He goes on to write, “In fact, I’d almost guarantee it, and I’d be happy to take on anyone from any other sport, too. Anybody up for the challenge?”
Hayward also went on to say how much he loved watching Fornite Streams.
“I also watch a lot of streams in my free time, and everybody is streaming Fortnite right now. To me, that is the best part about Twitch. You can watch the best players play every day, and pick up the same strategies that they have. Personally, I think watching streamers play is the best way to get better, other than practicing yourself. So I watch Ninja, Tfue, DrLupo. It’s easy to watch what they do, and try to emulate it.”
