Future Closes Rolling Loud By Bringing Out Nicki Minaji

Future was the headliner for the last night of Rolling Loud and the Atlanta native didn’t disappoint.

Future set on Sunday night was guess heavy with the likes of Ace Hood, Chris Brown, but the show stopper had to be Nicki Minaji.  She performed her new single, “Chun-Li,” and her collaborative track with Migos and Cardi B, “MotorSport.”

Future and Nicki have collaborated several times in the past. She featured on his 2014 track “Rock Star” and later on his 2017 track “You Da Baddest.” They also both contributed to DJ Khaled’s Major Key track “Do You Mind.”

Nicki recently announced her new album Queen, which is out June 15. Meanwhile, Future has been busy this year. Beyond releasing a new song, “I.C.W.N.T.,” he recently collaborated with Chance the Rapper, Nas, Schoolboy Q, and DJ Khaled, JAY-Z, and Beyoncé.

Watch: Travis Scott And Drake’s “Sicko” Video

Travis Scott has shared a new video for his Drake-assisted Astroworld track “Sicko Mode.”

The trippy video was shot in Houston and directed by Dave Meyers and Travis Scott. Meyers previously directed Scott’s wild “Stop Trying to Be God” visual, which featured cameos from James Blake and Kylie Jenner. Drizzy and Scott alternate verses as well as locations through the video.

The video takes you on a wild ride through Scott’s hometown of Houston, which he treats like his very own amusement park, much like the one his latest album,Astroworld, is named after.

Lil Wayne Grabs Swizz Beatz For ‘Uproar’ Video

Lil Wayne drops the latest video from Tha Cater V.

“Uproar” is directed by Mills Miller, which features cameos from the song’s producer Swizz Beatz, Shiggy, Kid Pat and Fatboy SSE.

Weezy and Swizz reprise Diddy’s 2001 hit single “Special Delivery” (Remix) for the song’s instrumental. They also attempt to restart a viral hit with their #UproarChallenge by having all the video’s participants bring back the Harlem Shake dance.

Rihanna Turned Down Superbowl In Support Of Colin Kaepernick

Rihanna walked away from the NFL.

According to Us Weekly, the Anti singer was reportedly approached to headline the Super Bowl LIII halftime show; however, she declined the offer out of support for Colin Kaepernick.

“The NFL and CBS really wanted Rihanna to be next year’s performer in Atlanta,” the insider reveals. “They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance.”

Kaepernick, a former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, began kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games during the 2016 season to call attention to social injustices and racial inequality.

Jay-Z also turned down the Super Bowl halftime show due to leagues stance on athletes protesting.
