Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ Is Nielsen’s Top Album Of 2018 in U.S.

Drake owned 2018 with his eighth album Scorpion.

According to the Nielsen Ratings data-tracking firm reports that Scorpion earned 3.905 million equivalent album units during the year, with 330,000 of that sum coming from album sales.

The album moved 732,000 album equivalent units sold for the first week with 160,000 coming from traditional album sales .

The project featured 25 tracks, including the No. 1 hits “Nice for What” as well as Drake’s latest single “God’s Plan”,” both with accompanying videos directed by Karena Evans. Guests on the project include JAY-Z, Michael Jackson, Static Major, and Ty Dolla Sign.
