Netflix canceled the series Top Boy in 2013. Drake was not having any of that and secured the rights to a fourth season.
Netflix announced the return of the show after six years. The 10-episodes will be executive produced by Drake.
“We couldn’t be more excited for Netflix members around the world and a new generation of fans to discover the authentic, raw and real world of Top Boy,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President, Original Content for Netflix. “Drake came to us several months ago with a passion to help bring this series back to life, and we’re thrilled to support the original creative team to do just that.”
The cast will include Ashley “Asher D” Walters, Kane “Kano” Robinson, Simbi “Little Simz” Ajikawo, David “Dave” Omoregie, Micheal Ward, and Shone Romulus will appear on the program.
Top Boy‘s third season will be on Netflix this fall.
