Published

Snoop has reached another legendary status.

The Hip Hop OG received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony was tapped for Jimmy Kimmel with Kimmel joined legendary producers Quincy Jones, Dr. Dre, 2 Chainz, BattleCat, Big Boy, George Lopez, Jeannie Buss, Jeezy, Pharrell Williams, T.I.,Ty Dolla $ign, Warren G and others were in attendance.

“Dr. Dre believed in me when I really wasn’t nothing and I’mma say that because I mean that ’cause I really didn’t know what I wanted to do,” he said. “When Dr. Dre gave me the opportunity, he really—he didn’t look at me like somebody that was less than him. He looked at me like an equal and we always been brothers from that day…that was real effective with me because, when you dealin’ with a star and you comin’ in as a nobody, it’s easy for the star to down look you or play you low, but for him to look at me even, that’s why we never said no to each other to this day because we always look at each other as brothers and we depend on each other and we need each other.”

Later in his speech, Snoop took the time to thank himself for the never giving up on his dreams.

“I want to thank me for believing in me,” he said. “I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I want to thank me for having no days off. I want to thank me for never quitting. I want to thank me for always being a giver, and trying to give more than I receive. I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I want to thank me for just being me at all times.”

6ix9ine Arrested By ATF On Federal Racketeering Charges

Published

on

6ix9ine and his former manager have reportedly been arrested on racketeering charges.

According to TMZ, the ATF arrested 6ix9ine Sunday night in NYC, and the agents also hauled in his ex-manager, Shottie, at the same time. Both are facing racketeering and firearms charges.

6ix9ine is currently on probation, stemming from an October 2015 guilty plea to the use of a child in a sexual performance. Sentencing in the case dragged on for years until, last month, a New York judge gave him four years of probation and required him to complete community service, refrain from gang affiliation, and avoid future arrests.

This will surely put him behind bars for some time.

Stay posted.
