Diddy And Jay-Z Launching A New App

Published

on

Diddy and JAY-Z are two of the biggest entrepreneurs not only within the music industry. Both have been set on pushing boundaries and creating wealth. Now both will team up for a new app to help African-American business owners.

During an interview with GQ, Diddy revealed the details of the new venture. The hip-hop mogul plans to develop an app by teaming up with JAY-Z , which will spotlight Black-owned businesses in a user’s area, to help invest back into the Black community. “My thing is most importantly to change the narrative of the black race. I can’t relate to anything that isn’t about that,” he says.

The unfinished app is still without a name, and Brother Love is quick to add the venture isn’t about taking away from other communities — but action needs to be taken, “I don’t believe in passiveness. At some point, there has to be some kind of fight,” Diddy states. “I feel like we’ve done a lot of marching. It’s time to start charging.”

Meek Mill is now a free man.

Meek had been fighting for his release while appealing a two- to four-year sentence for a probation violation.

To celebrate his release from prison, Meek Mill was flown out by helicopter to the Game 5 Sixers vs Heat game.

Said Mill on Twitter:

On Facebook, Jay-Z said of Meek Mill: “He was incarcerated unjustly and caught in a probation trap for years by a broken system. Now we can celebrate his release. We thank every individual that has supported and fought alongside Meek every step of the way.”

J. Cole has shared his new music video for “Kevin’s Heart.”  Cole and Kevin have been friends for years so it was surprising when the track made his KOD album. A bigger surprise is that Kevin is starring in the video about the aftermath of his scandal.

Hart himself also tweeted about the video.
