Marvel’s Captain Marvel is on target to have one of the biggest March debuts in history.
The new superhero movie from Disney flew into theaters with a strong Thursday preview of $20 million, followed by $62 million. According to Deadline, the current projection is for the film to earn $160 million.
That will put the film in third place best for the month of March after Beauty and the Beast $174.7 million and Batman v. Superman $166 million.
