Bradley Beal s came into Tuesday night’s game against Portland Trailblazers, desperate to forgot their 116-69 loss against the Jazz. The 24 year-old star responding by erupting erupted for a career-high 51 points in a 106-92 win against Portland.

“I’ve been thinking way too much,” Beal said after the game. “Tonight, I was just playing freely and having fun.” Beal surpassed his previous career high of 42 points with 9 minutes remaining in the game. So having fun is an understatement.

Beal made 21-of-37 field goals and adding five 3-pointers to boost his stat line. His 51 points were the most ever scored in Portland by an opposing player. Beal scored 19 first-half points.

“You never go into a game thinking one of your best players or best guards in the league is going to get 50, but he has the ability to get high numbers when he’s aggressive,” said Washington coach Scott Brooks said. “We gave him space to work.”

Jalen Rose Walks Off Set Over Jordan Vs Lebron

Published

on

The debate over Jordan versus Lebron will be one talked about forever. No matter where you go. For some, there is no debate, Jordan all day. For others, Lebron hands down.

Jay Williams joined Get Up! to make the point that in 1 on 1, he would give Lebron the advantage.

“You cannot tell me in a one-on-one game that LeBron James wouldn’t dominate Mike. In a one-on-one game, LeBron James, 6-9, 260 pounds — if the game was to seven, I think LeBron would win 7-3. You can talk about his mentality, but we’re not talking about five-on-five basketball, J-Rose. We’re not talking about the passive LeBron, making the right play … LeBron James is 6-9, 260, he moves like a guard! He moves like a guard. He defends like a guard.”

Jalen responded with the classic Jordan comeback.

“Michael Jordan was all-defensive first team nine times. LeBron James was five times. Michael Jordan led the league in scoring ten times. Ten! LeBron James led the league in scoring once. I’m talking about a guy whose been the best offensive player AND the best defensive player.”

Lebron James Makes History And Evens Series

Lebron James and Cleveland Cavaliers were down 2-1 in the series with Boston. On Tuesday Night, James evened the series with a 44 point performance in a 111-102 win. He also made history in the process.

In the second quarter on a pass from JR Smith, James nailed a jumper to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time lead in Post Season points. That 22-foot jumper was James  2,357th postseason field goal of his career.

James also tied Allen Iverson with the most 40 points games during the playoffs. Both players had 6 games in the playoffs with over 40 points.

“To know where I come from, small city 35 miles south of here, and to hear I’m in the same category or talked about and jumping these greats in the playoffs, it’s pretty cool,” James said. “You hear the scoring, the field goals made, and for a kid that really doesn’t care much about scoring.”

The Cavs will face Boston again on Wednesday night for Game 5.

Paul Pierce Would Leave Cleveland If He Was Lebron

Published

on

Lebron watch will officially start at the end of the NBA playoffs. Every source will claim to be plugged to where the 3x time MVP will go.

Paul Pierce was recently asked in an interview with Dime magazine where he would go if he were in Lebron’s spot.

“It all depends on, I think with LeBron it’s about the opportunity to win a title. The only teams that I see that make sense for him are possibly Houston or Philadelphia. Those guys instantly have a chance to beat, knockoff, or win a championship, with that roster, if you have LeBron. There’s a lot of rumors about the Lakers and all that, but I just don’t see what they can do over there right away. It’d have to be a quick fix to be a contender in one year for Los Angeles. So those are the two teams right there that I feel if he goes there, that’s his best opportunity to win.”

James left Cleveland in Free Agency to join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami in 2010. He returned to Cleveland in 2014, but with the current roster it is likely this could be his last season in Cleveland.

Let us know where you think he will go?
