Aaron Rodgers Led Packers To An Epic Comeback With One Leg

Aaron Rodgers spent most of the first half of Sunday Night’s game against the Chicago Bears getting his leg examined. While Rodgers was getting treated, the Bears were storming off to a 17-0 lead going into the half.

After the Bears opened the third quarter with a field goal. It all seemed lost for the Packers. No one expected Rodgers to come back and have a heroic second half. Rodgers stepped on the field and started throwing dimes to his receivers even with the pain still in his leg.

“I felt like once I got back out there, when the adrenaline was going, it loosened up a little bit,” Rodgers said. “But then it tightened up there in the fourth quarter. I was walking up and down the sideline trying to keep it loose. We’ll do tests [Monday], and you’ll get a better answer Wednesday when I talk.”

The first touchdown from Rodgers was a 37-yard bomb to the back corner of the end zone Geronimo Allison.

The next drive saw him hook up with Davante Adams twice, once for a 51 yard gain and then later for a touchdown to pull within a score.

The go-ahead score was a 75-yard catch-and-run touchdown by Randall Cobb with 2:13 remaining.

The Packers would hold on to the lead and win the game 24-23.
