50 Cent found himself at the center of hate for one NYPD commanding officer. The commander alleging order officers in his prescient to shoot the Queens native on sight.
Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez is accused ordering the hit on 50 last summer. During the roll call, Gonzalez told his men to “shoot [50 Cent] on sight” if they saw him at a boxing match in the Bronx that the rapper was expected to attend, according to New York’s Daily News. “The inspector just said that at roll call,” a source told the paper. “I’m like WTF.”
Fifty is taking the threat seriously and is considering moving out of New York.
“I’m afraid for my life, I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard of this. The cops never notified me of the threat. I’m closing all my business in New York. I may have to sue the city.” wrote Fif.
50 also posted an image of the officer calling him a “gangsta with a badge”.
